Pirin Weding and Ritual Songs(Sestri Bisserovi)
불가리아는 발칸반도에 위치하여 유럽과 동방의 교차로 역할을 하였는데, 슬라브, 로마인, 그리스인, 불가르인, 비잔틴과 십자군 등 수많은 종족들이 거쳐 지나가면서 다양한 문화유산을 남긴 지역이라 음악 또한 보컬과 기악에서 독특하고 풍부하다. 불가리아 민속음악에서 모노폴리가 주종이지만 피린산맥 지역과 소피아 근처 Shop지역에서는 폴리포닉 음악이 많은데 두 파트로 나누어서 주로 여자들이 부른다.
이 음반의 Bisserovi 자매(Lyubinka(1953), Neda(1955), Mitra(1957))는 1978년 쿠바에서의 World Youth Festival에서 1등상을 타면서 Debut 하였다.
